LITTLE ROCK - This season's "Meet the Trojans" event has been scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 1, at 5 p.m. at the Jack Stephens Center. Admission to the event allowing fans to get their first look at the UALR men's and women's basketball teams is free, although attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to contribute to the Reach 13,000 Food Drive.

"This is a free event, but we would like to encourage everyone to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Reach 13,000 campaign, a UALR campus-wide initiative to help provide holiday meals to the local community," said UALR Director of Athletics Chris Peterson.

The annual event will begin at 5:45 p.m. with coaches Steve Shields and Joe Foley introducing their teams, followed by a three-point shooting contest, a performance by the UALR dance team and a dunk contest.

The JSC concession stands will be open and fans will be able to enjoy free Pepsi products and Diamond Bear beer. The Trojans' Nike Team Store will also be open with all the latest Trojan athletic gear.

Players and coaches will be available for autographs and pictures in the mezzanine area at 6:30 p.m.

Ticket prices and information will be available for fans interested in season ticket packages.
