LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The
UALR women's basketball coaching staff and head coach Joe Foley is pleased to announce on Wednesday (Nov. 14) the
addition of Antoina Robinson for the
2013-2014 season.
"Antoina is a very athletic 6-2 power forward who is a
4-position type player," Foley explained. "She is a good shooter and a great
competitor who comes from a 5-A State Championship team last season."
Robinson hails from Duncanville, Texas and was a former
teammate of current UALR freshman Morgan Bolton at Duncanville High School. She has played AAU basketball for six years and was also a two-year
letter winner for Duncanville. In helping the Pantherettes capture
the 2011-2012 state title, Robinson averaged 5.1 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.1
blocks per game her junior year and was named to the All-District squad for district five.
