LITTLE ROCK - The
UALR women's basketball team and head coach Joe Foley are pleased to announce on Wednesday (Nov. 14) the
signing of 6-1 post Keanna Keys for
the 2013-14 season.
"Keanna is a tremendous athlete and leader who plays with a
high motor at all times," Foley stated. "She runs as well, if not better than,
any post we've had at UALR."
From Sumrall, Miss., Keys was named a State High School
All-Star, averaging a double-double with 18.7 points and 10 rebounds a game.
She has led the Bobcats to the Mississippi Basketball Playoffs every year with
Keys earning All-Conference and All-District each of those seasons. In 2012,
Keys was named the Conference Most Valuable Player and District Offensive MVP.
For all her accomplishments on the hardwood, Keys also
excels in the classroom. She has a 3.8 GPA and has been named to the Honor Roll
every semester of her High School Career.
