SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Freshman Megan Scott, competing in her first 11-dive springboard competition, turned in a 433.50. She was the highest individual finisher as the UALR Swimming And Diving Team sits third with 180 points after day 1 of the Drury Invitational. The host Panthers lead the team competition with 356 points.
Also finishing third was the 200 free relay team of junior Kara Raney, seniors Rebecca McEachern and Amber Kelly with freshman Valeriya Teplova. The quartet finished with a time of 1:40.13. In the 400 medley relay, Raney, Kelly, Teplova and sophomore Meghan Petersen teamed up to finish fifth with a time of 4:05.74.
Raney took fourth in the 50 free with a time of 24.80.
The UALR swimming and diving team finishes up the weekend on Saturday at the second half of the Drury Invite.
