NEW ORLEANS - UALR's Megan Scott was named SBC Diver of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday.

Scott, from San Antonio, Texas, competed at the Drury Invitational this past weekend. She posted a pair of third-place finishes in the 11-dive springboard competitions to help UALR place fourth overall as a team.

She totaled 412.35 in the 1-meter event, just 16 points behind the winner. In the 3-meter competition, she took third in a hotly contested battle with 433.5, just 11 points behind the winner.

Scott notched her third SBC weekly award, the most by any SBC swimmer or diver this season. She previously won on Oct. 10 and Oct. 31. She joins sophomore volleyball player Edina Begic for the second UALR athlete to win the weekly SBC award three times this season.

Scott and the Trojans will be back in the pool and on the boards on Nov. 29 when they host the UALR Christmas Invitational.
