LITTLE ROCK - The
UALR swimming team will be offering group swim lessons for children ages 4-12
at the Donaghey Center Natatorium in a two-week session beginning April 15.
Children of all swimming abilities are welcome to participate, but spots are
limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Groups will meet
Monday-Thursday for two consecutive weeks (eight total lessons). Lesson dates
are April 15-18 and April 22-25.
Fridays will be reserved to
make up any lessons canceled due to inclement weather. No make-up classes or
refunds will be allowed for personal absences.
Cost is $60 for all eight
lessons. Groups will be no larger than five children of similar abilities. Please
make checks payable to: UALR Swimming Foundation. Do not write in the memo
line. Payment is due the first day of lessons and can be brought to the first
lesson.
Participants will meet in the
DSC Aquatic Center on the south end of the pool by the bleachers. Each group
will be led by a UALR swim team member and supervised by the UALR coaching
staff. Lifeguards will be on duty.
Groups will be determined by
swimming ability and age. Every child will be encouraged to try something new
and develop their skills in each session.
