ROCK, Ark.—The UALR women’s basketball team announces the sixth
signee to the 2012-13 class in Carolee
Dillard from Midwest City, Okla. Dillard comes to UALR from Midwest City High
School.
“Carolee will be a strong
bodied post player for us,” said head coach Joe Foley. “She is a very good athlete who played volleyball and
basketball. She will give us some size and strength inside.”
Dillard, a 6-2 forward,
averaged six rebounds, three blocks, and two steals per game while shooting 56
percent from the field and 43 percent from the three-point line.
During her career at
Midwest City High School, Dillard helped lead her team to a 79-5 record
including a state championship as well as finishing as state runner-ups and finishing
as state semi-finalists.
An all-city and all-state
selection, Dillard was MVP of the Fort Smith Tournament of Champions and was
named to numerous all-tournament teams.
Dillard was also an
all-state selection in volleyball.
Dillard joins Jaliria and Jakeisha Wells during the spring signing period and Morgan Bolton, Shanity James, and Cheyenne
Williams during the fall.
