LITTLE ROCK, Ark.—The UALR women’s basketball team announces the sixth signee to the 2012-13 class in Carolee Dillard from Midwest City, Okla. Dillard comes to UALR from Midwest City High School.

“Carolee will be a strong bodied post player for us,” said head coach Joe Foley. “She is a very good athlete who played volleyball and basketball. She will give us some size and strength inside.”

Dillard, a 6-2 forward, averaged six rebounds, three blocks, and two steals per game while shooting 56 percent from the field and 43 percent from the three-point line.

During her career at Midwest City High School, Dillard helped lead her team to a 79-5 record including a state championship as well as finishing as state runner-ups and finishing as state semi-finalists.

An all-city and all-state selection, Dillard was MVP of the Fort Smith Tournament of Champions and was named to numerous all-tournament teams.

Dillard was also an all-state selection in volleyball.

Dillard joins Jaliria and Jakeisha Wells during the spring signing period and Morgan Bolton, Shanity James, and Cheyenne Williams during the fall.
