LITTLE ROCK - The UALR swimming and diving team has been named to the Fall 2011 Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. The honor is awarded each semester to teams that maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

UALR's team GPA of 3.3 tied it with North Texas for the second-best team GPA in the Sun Belt Conference. Both Denver's men's and women's teams earned a GPA of 3.4 to lead all SBC schools.

The Trojans finished their 2011-12 season at the Sun Belt Championships last weekend, where the team set 12 new school records over the course of the four-day event.
