LITTLE ROCK - The 2010 Steve Shields Basketball Camp completed a successful first session on Friday, with over 100 campers attending the regular camp for kids grades 4-12. The second session (June 21-25) begins Monday morning, with the third and final session scheduled for July 12-16.

Each session features a mini-camp for kids entering grades K-3 from 8 a.m.-10 a.m., followed by a regular camp session for children entering grades 4-12 from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Due to an NCAA mandated "dead period", children who are considered prospective student-athletes may not attend the final session, limiting participation in the regular camp to kids entering grades 4-6.

The cost of each session is $95 per child for the mini-camp and $195 per camper for the regular camp. Each session is held at the Jack Stephens Center, which is located on the UALR campus at the corner of University Avenue and 28th Street.

Registration for each session will be held on the first day of camp. Mini-camp registration will take place from 7:30-8 a.m., with registration for the regular camp session running from 10-10:30 a.m.
