Asriel Rolfe was promoted to Assistant Coach in September 2012 after spending one year as UALR's Director of Basketball Operations. Rolfe joined the UALR women’s basketball staff in July of 2011 after starting for all four years under head coach Joe Foley. Rolfe helped lead the program to four-straight Sun Belt West Division titles, four-straight 20-win seasons, and four-straight post-season appearances including back-to-back NCAA Tournament berths.

Rolfe will be responsible for monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes, coordinating team travel, assisting in game scheduling, arranging film exchange, supervising study hall and performing class checks, overseeing student managers, and directing community outreach efforts as well as other duties.

Rolfe became the all-time UALR career leader in assists with 558 and the first women’s basketball player to surpass 500 in her career.  After the 2009-10 season, she finished ranked first in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio with a 2.98 mark.

The Dallas, Texas native started at point guard in all but two games in her career while totaling 752 points, 349 rebounds, and 154 steals.  She is ranked in ten career categories including second in assists average at 4.3 per game and third in three-point field goals made with 121.

Rolfe graduated in May of 2011 from UALR with a degree in health and exercise science.
